On January 29, 2026, a roundtable discussion on "Voices of Faith on the Great Russian Northern Route. Project Development" was held at the Joseph Haydn Children's Music School.

In the summer of 2025, the CANTUS Boys' and Young Men's Choir successfully implemented the "Voices of Faith on the Great Russian Northern Route" project with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives (PFCI).

Alexandra Arkadyevna Samokhvalova, Artistic Director of the CANTUS Boys' and Young Men's Choir, discussed the project's implementation stages, including the genesis of the idea, concept, and program, the preparation and submission of documentation to the Foundation for the Cultural Heritage (PFKI) for a grant, and the technical (concert hall rental, hotel reservations, tickets, transfers, meals, etc.) and artistic (singer selection, rehearsal schedule development, musical notation study, working with soloists, rehearsal methodology, etc.) aspects.

Over 50 representatives of the professional community participated in the roundtable, including teachers, choirmasters, accompanists, conductors, students of music educational institutions, as well as the choir's soloists and teaching staff of the Joseph Haydn Children's Music School.

During the roundtable, those present discussed the project's progress, the key quantitative and qualitative results achieved, and the resulting social impact. They assessed the prospects for its continued implementation in 2026, and also noted the important role of the Foundation for the Development of the Northern Russian Culture.

Following the discussions, the participants agreed on the need for further development and scaling of the project. Consequently, taking into account suggestions from representatives of the professional community, a development plan for the "Voices of Faith on the Great Russian Northern Route" project was adopted following the roundtable discussion, with a proposal to include it in the program of the annual Youth Interregional Festival of Academic Choral Art "Voices of Faith on the Great Russian Northern Route."
